Having a Park Mark award means measures such as good lighting, effective surveillance and management practices are of a high standard.
These measures are known to reduce vehicle related crime - that is theft of a vehicle, attempted theft or theft from a vehicle (tell tale signs are door locks and windows). But don't worry, vehicle related crime has significantly reduced since its peak in the mid 1990's and car park standards have improved immensely.
Look for the Park Mark!
